California, Bay Area
1996 was my first trip in San Francisco, followed by many others. "One day I would live here!". Here I met my wife Sandrine Di Rienzo, a French Italian based in the US and president of the world music label Tinder Records. Lhassa, our son, was born in San Francisco.
Tinder records, World without boundaries. I discovered the World Music industry and toured with many African artists. I carried out the portraits of various artists such as Idrissa Diop. With him we went to discover Senegal

Burning Man, voyage in utopia
In 2002, my first participation at Burning Man.
Seven days in the desert,
alone... with 30 000 people.
I met David Best, an artist who builds temples
from recycled materials.
Burning Man is an event which has been held
for 20 years in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada.

I created Free Run Pictures dedicated to the production of independent documentaries.
In addition, Free Run develops an executive production service in the U.S. for French and foreign productions.

Documentaries
"Burning Man, Voyage in Utopia" is our first full length production.
At the same time we are producing a film, "The Urgency of Change" portraiying the American architect Eugene Tsui.
Another film in preproduction is “Historia“,about the collaboration of Carlos Santana with the Senegalese artist Idrissa Diop.
I also work as a director on other producers’ projects. I’m excited to discover new subjects, create new teams and to live new adventures.
